Use iSeries™ Navigator
to find the most recent system reference codes for each logical partition
on your server.
Each logical partition on your system displays its own set of
SRCs. Remember each partition is operating as an independent system and generating
its own set of SRCs.
To display system reference code history for a
logical partition using My Connections, follow these steps:
- In iSeries Navigator,
expand My Connections or your active environment.
- Select the primary partition of the system.
- Expand Configuration and Service and select Logical
Partitions.
- Right-click the Logical Partition and select Properties.
- Select the Reference Code page to view a
list of the 200 most recent system reference codes.
- Click Help if you need more information
on this field.
- Click OK.
To display system reference code history for a logical partition
using the service tools window, follow these steps:
- In iSeries Navigator,
select My Connections or your active environment.
- Select Open iSeries Navigator service tools window in
the Taskpad window. If the Taskpad window is not displayed, select View and
select Taskpad.
- Enter the IP address of the service tool network
interface to which you want to connect. Click OK.
- You will be prompted for your Service Tools User ID and user
password.
- Expand the system name select Logical Partitions.
- Right-click the logical partition and select Properties.
- Select the Reference Code page to view a list
of the 200 most recent system reference codes.
- Click Help if you need more information on this
field.
- Click OK.
To display the reference codes for each logical partition, follow
these steps:
- In iSeries Navigator,
expand Management Central.
- Expand Systems with Partitions.
- Select the physical system that has the logical partition with which you
want to work.
- Right-click the logical partition and select Properties.
- Select the Reference Code page to view a list of
the 200 most recent system reference codes.
- Click Help if you need more information on this
field.
- Click OK.
This panel displays a list of the last 200 system reference codes
sorted by date and time and from newest to oldest.
