Once media is added to the BRMS inventory, you can view that media based on criteria that you specify, such as the volume name, status, media pool, or expiration date.
Knowing the expiration date for the media helps to manually expire a piece of media, which returns that piece of media to the BRMS media inventory.
To filter which media you see in the list, follow these steps:
- Expand Backup, Recovery and Media Services.
- Expand Media.
- Right-click Tape Volumes and select Customize this View and Include.
