Checklist: Install central site distribution media on the target system

  1. If you plan to install virtual images on the target system, you must Optional: Prepare the target system for virtual images.
  2. Install the distribution media on the target systems by using the steps outlined in the following appropriate information of the Install, upgrade, or delete i5/OS and related software topic:
  3. Complete any tasks described in Installation tasks for the target systems that were not done as part of a user-defined installation program.
    Note: Software agreements do not need to be accepted again on the target system.

When you are finished

  1. Verify that the user-defined installation program (QLPUSER) loaded successfully if you wrote a user-defined installation program.
  2. Clear two files from the integrated file system if you distributed Infoprint® Designer for iSeries™.
  3. Change the electronic customer support data if you want to.

When you complete the steps in this checklist, you have completed the central site distribution.
