Files in the integrated file system

The integrated file system stores Java^tm-related class files, source files, ZIP files, and JAR files in a hierarchical file structure. You can also store source files in the integrated file system. You may store the files in these integrated file systems:

• "root" (/) file system
• open systems file system (QOpenSys)
• user-defined file system
• library file system (QSYS.LIB)
• OS/2 Warp Server for iSeries^(TM) file system (QLANSrv)
• optical file system (QOPT)

Note: Other integrated file systems are not supported, because they are not thread safe.
