Software requirements

You need this software:

  1. i5/OS™ 5722-SS1 Version 5 Release 4.

    To check your release level:

    1. On the i5/OS command line, type Go LICPGM and press Enter.
    2. Type 10 in the option field to look at installed products.

  2. IBM® i5/OS Integrated Server Support (5722-SS1 Option 29) V5R4. See Install IBM i5/OS Integrated Server Support.
  3. Start of changeIBM iSeries™ Navigator, which is included with IBM iSeries Access for Windows (5722-XE1).
    Notes:
    1. When installing iSeries Navigator on a Windows PC, do a full install or do a custom install and select the optional Integrated Server Administration component.
    2. iSeries navigator is preferred for most Windows environment on iSeries configuration tasks.
