The IBM® Developer Kit for Java™ supports these tools.
With a few exceptions, the Java tools, except the ajar tool, support the syntax and options that are documented by Sun Microsystems, Inc. They must all run by using the Qshell Interpreter.
You can start the Qshell Interpreter by using the Start Qshell (STRQSH or QSH) command. When the Qshell Interpreter is running, a QSH Command Entry display appears. All output and messages from Java tools and programs that run under Qshell appear in this display. Any input to a Java program is also read from this display. See Java command in Qshell for more details.
