Install NAWT software fixes

To install NAWT, you need to ensure that you install the software fix that includes the appropriate NAWT support for the version of Java™ 2 Software Development Kit (J2SDK), Standard Edition that you want to use.

Before installing any software fixes (PTFs), make sure that your server software includes the option for licensed program 5722JV1 that corresponds to the J2SDK version you want to use. To verify the option for your server software, complete the following steps:

  1. At an i5/OS™ command line, type the Go Licensed Program (GO LICPGM) and press ENTER.
  2. Select option 10 (Displayed installed licensed program) and verify that you have installed the licensed program 5722JV1 option that corresponds to the version of the JDK that you intend to use.

Be sure to apply the latest Java group software fix to pick up any recent NAWT fixes.
