Command information and documentation

IBM^® provides documentation for i5/OS™ commands. In addition, you can write documentation for your own commands.

  Command documentation is provided for i5/OS commands in the form of online help and information in the iSeries™ Information Center. In the Information Center, each command description follows the same format.

  Online help is provided for i5/OS commands.
• Print command descriptions on the server
  You can print parameter and value descriptions for a command.
• Command prompters
  Command prompters allow you to prompt for command parameters and values.
