Use overrides

You can use overrides to temporarily change a file name, a device name associated with the file, or some of the other attributes of a file.

Overrides allow you to make minor changes in how a program functions. Overrides allow you to select the data, on which they operate, without recompiling the program. These topics explain how to use overrides on iSeries™:
