Optical file (FILE)

Specifies the name of the optical file about which to display information.

This is a required parameter.

Qualifier 1: Optical file

name
Specify the name of the optical file whose attributes are to be displayed.

Qualifier 2: Library

*LIBL
All libraries in the job's library list are searched until the first match is found.
*CURLIB
The current library for the job is where the file is located. If no library is specified as the current library for the job, QGPL is used.
name
Specify the name of the library where the optical file is located.

Detail (DETAIL)

Specifies the amount of detail that is provided about the optical file.

*BASIC
The display or listing contains the name and basic information about the optical file.
*FULL
In addition to the information provided by the *BASIC parameter, a list of all keys and fields is provided.
*VOLUMES
The display or listing contains a list of all volumes (optical disks) where this optical file is located.
*FIELDS
The display or listing contains a list of all fields and their attributes for this optical file.
*KEYS
The display or listing contains a list of all key fields and their attributes for this optical file.
*SERVICE
All information concerning the optical file is provided.

Output (OUTPUT)

Specifies where the output for the command is sent.

The output is displayed.
*PRINT
The output is printed with the job's spooled output.
