Before you can apply the appropriate settings to the other systems
in your network, you must create a system group for all the endpoint systems.
A system group is a collection of systems that you can manage and to which
you can apply similar settings and attributes, such as the network authentication
service configuration.
- In iSeries™ Navigator,
expand .
- Right-click System Groups and select New
System Group to create a new system group.
- On the General page, enter MyCo2
system group in the name field. Specify a description for this system
group.
- From the Available System list, select iSeries A, iSeries B, iSeries C,
and iSeries D
and click Add. This will add these systems to the Selected
systems list. Click OK.
- Expand System Groups to verify that your
system group was added.
