Cluster Diagram Inspector Properties
The general properties panel shows a subset of properties that
are common to all chart inspectors. For specific chart options,
select the tab representing that chart type. For advanced
customization options, right click on the chart to display a
context menu.
The Cluster Diagram panel provides these options:
- Color processing
- One of three types of coloring choices are available for
the diagram:
- 1. Mean threshold, which colors clusters above the mean
threshold red and below in blue.
- 2. User threshold, which colors clusters above the
specified threshold red and below in blue.
- 3. Color map, which allows you to use different colors
for different categories as defined in the properties for
the Self Organizing Map bean.
- Draw cluster nodes
- Cluster nodes may be drawn as circles or squares.
- Show grid
- The grid drawn around each cluster may be toggled on or
off as desired.
- Show cluster IDs
- The display of numeric index value for the cluster IDs
for each cluster may be toggled on or off as desired.
- Invert activations
- The activations represent the distance from the input
value to the winning cluster prototype. Hence the
smallest circle or square is the winner as it is
mathematically closest to zero distance. If you'd prefer
that the winning cluster be more noticable, invert the
activations so that the largest circle or square is the
winner. Other clusters close to the winner will be
displayed in a size relative to the distance or inverted
distance as selected.
