TCP/IP interfaces

A TCP/IP interface is used to configure the TCP/IP address for the i5/OS™ end of the point to point virtual Ethernet network. See Figure 13 and Figure 14 .

Note:
The TCP/IP address for the Windows end of the point to point virtual Ethernet network is configured via the TCP/IP port configuration (TCPPORTCFG) parameter in the NWSD.
