
Configuring virtual Ethernet for iSCSI networks that have a maximum
frame size that is less than 1500 bytes
At the Windows console, perform the following steps:
- Navigate to the Network Connections Window.
- Double click the IBM® iSeries™ Virtual Ethernet x adapter that
will use a iSCSI HBA connected to the iSCSI network having a maximum frame
size less than 1500 bytes.
- Click on Properties.
- Click on Configure.
- Click on Advanced.
- Click on Maximum Frame Size.
- Select a value that is as large as possible without exceeding the iSCSI
network's maximum frame size.
