<div><p>In some cases, you might try to create an SQL package but the SQL
package is created and the program still runs. This situation
occurs when the program contains only SQL statements that do not require an
SQL package to run.</p>
<div class="section"><p>For example, a program that contains only the SQL statement DESCRIBE
TABLE will generate message SQL5041 during SQL package creation. The SQL statements
that do not require an SQL package are:</p>
<ul><li>COMMIT</li>
<li>CONNECT</li>
<li>DESCRIBE TABLE</li>
<li>DISCONNECT</li>
<li>RELEASE</li>
<li>RELEASE SAVEPOINT</li>
<li>ROLLBACK</li>
<li>SAVEPOINT</li>
<li>SET CONNECTION</li>
