<div class="section">In the IBM<sup>®</sup> Telephone
|
||
|
|
Directory V5.2 application, you can view additional information for a search
|
||
|
|
entry. To view additional search entry information, such as Have Same Manager,
|
||
|
|
View Management Chain, and View Direct Report Members, perform the following
|
||
|
|
steps:</div>

||
|
|
<ol><li class="stepexpand"><span>Access the IBM Telephone Directory application by entering the following
|
||
|
|
URL in your Web browser:</span> <pre>http://<em>your.server.name:port</em>/ibm-bizApps/welcome/home.do</pre>
|
||
|
|
<p>where <em>your.server.name</em> is the name of the server where IBM Telephone Directory V5.2 is installed
|
||
|
|
and <em>port</em> is the port number that was specified during installation.</p>
|
||
|
|

<li class="stepexpand"><span>Click <span class="uicontrol">IBM Telephone Directory</span>.</span></li>
|
||
|
|
<li class="stepexpand"><span>Click <span class="uicontrol">Search</span>.</span></li>
|
||
|

<li class="stepexpand"><span>Enter criteria to search for, and click <span class="uicontrol">Search</span>.</span></li>
|
||
|

<li class="stepexpand"><span>In the search result listing, you can perform these additional
|
||
|
|
functions:</span> <dl><dt class="dlterm">View Department Members</dt>
|
||
|
|
<dd>Shows a listing of all members in the same department as the entry. If
|
||
|
|
this link is disabled (grayed out), the currently displayed listing does not
|
||
|
|
have a department number or code specified.</dd>
|
||
|
|
<dt class="dlterm">View Management Chain</dt>
|
||
|
|
<dd>Shows a listing of the management reporting structure for the individual.
|
||
|
|
The listing displays in ascending order, starting with the individual's listing
|
||
|
|
as the bottom-most entry. If this link is disabled (grayed out), the currently
|
||
|
|
displayed listing does not have a manager specified.</dd>
|
||
|
|
<dt class="dlterm">View Direct Report Members</dt>
|
||
|
|
<dd>Shows a listing of all individuals who report directly to the one currently
|
||
|
|
displayed. If the link is disabled (grayed out), the currently displayed listing
|
||
|
|
is not for a manager.</dd>
