to an optical volume. There are two techniques to associate a volume ID label
with the correct side of the optical cartridge. This is important to know

The optical cartridge should be labeled the first time the cartridge is
added to an optical media library. This prevents any confusion in the future
when you are attempting to determine which volume goes with which side.
