<div><p>Change the IP address for a server associated with a relational

||
|
|
database in a clustered, switchable environment.</p>

||
|

<p>The server takeover IP address is associated with a primary disk pool in
|
||
|
|
a clustered, switchable environment. Specifically, it is the IP address for
|
||
|
|
a server associated with the relational database name in the device description
|
||
|
|
for a switchable independent disk pool. The specified address must exist
|
||
|
|
on all nodes in the recovery domain if the cluster resource group is active.</p>
|
||

<div class="p">To change the server takeover IP address for a primary disk pool, follow
|
||
|
|
these steps: <ol><li>In iSeries™ Navigator,
|
||
|
|
expand <span class="uicontrol">Management Central</span>. </li>
|
||
|
|
<li>Expand <span class="uicontrol">Clusters</span>. </li>
|
||
|
|
<li>Expand the cluster that contains the switchable hardware group. </li>
|
||
|
|
<li>Expand <span class="uicontrol">Switchable Hardware</span>. </li>
|
||
|
|
<li>Click the switchable hardware group and then right-click the required
|
||
|
|
primary disk pool and select <span class="uicontrol">Properties</span>. <div class="note"><span class="notetitle">Note:</span> The
|
||
|
|
server takeover IP address can only be associated with a primary switchable
|
||
|
|
independent disk pool.</div>

<li>Change the server takeover IP address in the <span class="uicontrol">IP address</span> field.</li>
