from simple typing errors to problems with system devices or programs.</p>

and shown on a display. Messages might be one of the following messages: <ul><li>An error message on your current display</li>

<li>A message regarding a system problem that is sent to the system operator

message queue, QSYSOPR</li>

||

<li>A message regarding a device problem that is sent to the message queue
|
||
|
|
specified in a device description</li>

<li>A message regarding a potential severe system condition that is sent to

the QSYSMSG message queue, the system operator message queue, and other message
|
||

queues specified by the users</li>

<li>An unexpected error message that is not handled by a program (shown on

the Display Program Messages display)</li>
