<div><p>The <span class="cmdname">Work with Job (WRKJOB)</span> command presents
the Work with Job menu. This menu allows you to select options to work with
or to change information related to a specified job. Enter the command without
any parameters to get information about the job you are currently using.</p>
<div class="section"> <p>Specify a job to get the same information pertaining to it by
entering its name in the command like this:</p>
<pre>WRKJOB JOB(job-number/user-ID/job-name)</pre>
<p>You
can get the information provided by the options on the menu whether the job
is on a job queue, output queue, or active. However, a job is not considered
to be in the server until all of its input has been completely read in. Only
then is an entry placed on the job queue. The options for the job information
are:</p>
<ul><li>Job status attributes</li>
<li>Job definition attributes</li>
<li>Spooled file information</li>
</ul>
<p> Information about the following options can be shown only when the
job is active:</p>
<ul><li>Job run attributes</li>
<li>Job log information</li>
<li>Program stack information</li>
<li>Job lock information</li>
<li>Library list information</li>
<li>Open file information</li>
<li>File override information</li>
<li>Commitment control status</li>
<li>Communications status</li>
<li>Activation groups</li>
<li>Mutexes</li>
</ul>
<p>Option 10 (Display job log) gives you information about an active
job or a job on a job queue. For jobs that have ended you can usually find
the same information by using option 4 (Work with spooled files). This
presents the <span class="cmdname">Work with Spooled Files</span> display, where you
can use option 5 to display the file named QPJOBLOG if it is on the list.
The <span class="cmdname">Work with Job (WRKJOB)</span> command presents the Work with
Job menu.</p>
