<div class="section">This task is performed by IBM<sup>®</sup> Business Partners or anyone who intends

|
to transfer ownership of an entire server or logical partition with <span><img src="./delta.gif" alt="Start of change" />V5R4<img src="./deltaend.gif" alt="End of change" /></span> installed
|
||
|
|
to a new owner. This is the final task before the server or logical partition
|
||
|
|
is powered down.</div>

<ol><li><span>On the command line, type <samp class="codeph">GO LICPGM</samp> and press
|
||
|
|
Enter. The Work with Licensed Programs display appears.</span></li>

||

<li><span>From the Work with Licensed Programs (LICPGM) menu, select option

31 (Prepare software agreements for transfer of ownership) and press Enter.
|
||
|
|
A confirmation display appears. Continuing with the task will power down the
|
||
|
|
server or logical partition.</span></li>
