Mapping (EIM) and network authentication service, you must install both the <span class="uicontrol">Network</span> option

and the <span class="uicontrol">Security</span> option of iSeries™ Navigator. EIM is located within
|
||
|
|
the <span class="uicontrol">Network</span> option and network authentication service
|
||
|
|
is within the <span class="uicontrol">Security</span> option. If you do not plan
|
||
|
|
to use <a href="../rzakh/rzakh000.htm">network
|
||
|
|
authentication service</a> in your network, you do not need to install
|
||
|
|
the <span class="uicontrol">Security</span> option of iSeries Navigator.</p>

<p>To install the
|
||
|
|
Network option of iSeries Navigator or to verify that you have this
|
||
|
|
option currently installed, ensure that iSeries Access for Windows<sup>®</sup> is
|
||
|
|
installed on the PC that you are using to administer the iSeries server.</p>

install the <span class="uicontrol">Network</span> option:</p>

Selection</span> dialog, expand <span class="uicontrol">iSeries Navigator</span>,

you plan to use network authentication service, you should also select the <span class="uicontrol">Security</span> option.</li>
