Connections</span> > <span class="uicontrol">All Connections</span></span>.</span></li>

<li><span>View <span class="uicontrol">CHIgw2MINhost</span> and verify that the <span class="uicontrol">Status</span> field
|
||
|
|
is <em>Idle</em> or <em>On-Demand</em>.</span></li>

<div class="section">Follow these steps to start the CHIgw2MINhost connection from Gateway-B:<div class="p"><ol><li>In <span class="keyword">iSeries Navigator</span>, expand <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol">Gateway-B</span> > <span class="uicontrol">Network</span> > <span class="uicontrol">IP
|

|
|
Policies</span></span>.</li>
|
||
|
|
<li>If the VPN server is not started, right-click <span class="uicontrol">Virtual Private
|
||
|
|
Networking</span> and select <span class="uicontrol">Start</span>. This starts
|
||
|
|
the VPN server.</li>
|
||
|
|
<li>Expand <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol">Virtual Private Networking</span> > <span class="uicontrol">Secure Connections</span></span>.</li>
|
||
|
|
<li>Click <span class="uicontrol">All Connections</span> to display a list of connections
|
||
|
|
in the right pane.</li>
|
||
|
|
<li>Right-click <span class="uicontrol">CHIgw2MINhost</span> and select <span class="uicontrol">Start</span>.</li>
|
||
|
|
<li>From the <span class="uicontrol">View</span> menu, select <span class="uicontrol">Refresh</span>.
|
||
|
|
If the connection starts successfully, the <span class="uicontrol">Status</span> field
|
||
|
|
will change from <em>Starting</em> or <em>On-Demand</em> to <em>Enabled</em>. The
|
||
|
|
connection may take a short time to start, so periodically refresh until
|
||
|
|
the status changes to <em>Enabled</em>.</li>
