<div><p>Every job that runs on your server has an associated job log that

records its activities.</p>

<div class="p">A job log can contain the following information: <ul><li>The commands in the job</li>

<li>The commands in a CL program</li>
|
||
|
|
<li>All messages associated with that job</li>
|
||
|
|
</ul>

<p>You can control the content of the job log by using the value specified
|
||
|
|
on the LOG parameter, see Control the content of the job log. You can specify
|
||
|
|
the LOG parameter on the CHGJOB, CHGJOBD, or CRTJOBD commands.</p>
