<p>The IBM Survey
|
||
|
|
Creator uses a DB2 Universal
|
||
|
|
Database to store configuration, content, and results information for each
|
||
|
|
survey. Each IBM Survey
|
||
|
|
Creator application that is installed in a WebSphere<sup>®</sup> Application Server for <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> run-time environment is configured
|
||
|
|
to have its own unique database. The IBM Survey Creator application uses the
|
||
|
|
stored information in the database to view and manage survey information.</p>
|
||

<p>IBM Survey
|
||
|
|
Creator uses a predefined naming convention for the database. The naming convention
|
||
|
|
follows the format of <em>SURVEYnnnn</em> where <em>nnnn</em> is the dynamic portion
|
||
|
|
of the name value consisting of digits (0-9). The valid values of the database
|
||
|
|
name ranges from <em>SURVEY0000</em> to <em>SURVEY9999</em>. This naming convention
|
||
|
|
limits an <span class="keyword">iSeries server</span> to a maximum
|
||
|
|
of 10000 different application servers configured with the survey application.</p>
