<p>OptiConnect refers to both software and hardware functions. OptiConnect

||
|
|
software is a priced, optional feature of i5/OS™ and is required to use OptiConnect communications
|
||
|

between servers. OptiConnect also refers to the hardware configuration over
|
||
|
|
which OptiConnect software communicates. Not all OptiConnect hardware functions
|
||
|
|
require a license for the OptiConnect software.</p>
