<div><p>You can view and change constraints that have been placed in a

check pending state by the system. Check pending refers to a state in which

||

a mismatch exists between either a parent and foreign key in the case of a

||
|

referential constraint or between the column value and the check constraint
|
||
|
|
definition in the case of a check constraint.</p>

||

pending state, follow these steps:</p>

<ol><li><span> Expand the system name and <span class="uicontrol">Databases</span>.
|
||

Right-click the database that you want to use, and select <span class="uicontrol">Manage
|
||
|
|
check pending constraints</span>.</span></li>

<li><span>From this interface, you can view the definition of the constraint
|
||
|
|
and the rows that are in violation of the constraint rules. Select the constraint
|
||
|
|
that you want to work with and then select <span class="uicontrol">Edit Check Pending Constraint</span> from
|
||
|
|
the <span class="uicontrol">File</span> menu.</span></li>
