<h1 class="topictitle1">Create home directories on iSeries A and iSeries B</h1>
<div><div class="section"><p>Each user that connects to <span class="keyword">iSeries™</span> and <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> applications needs a directory
in the /home directory. This directory stores the user's Kerberos credentials
cache. To create a home directory for a user, complete the following:</p>
<p>On
the <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> A command line,
enter: <tt>CRTDIR '/home/user profile'</tt> where <tt>user profile</tt> is
the <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> user profile name
for the user. For example: <tt>CRTDIR '/home/SYSUSERA'</tt>. This creates
a home directory for the user profile on <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> A
that represents all the Active Directory users.</p>
<p>Repeat this command
on <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> B but
specify SYSUSERB to create a home directory for the user profile on <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> B.</p>
