<h1 class="topictitle1">Create EIM identifiers</h1>
<div><div class="section"><p>As part of setting up your single signon environment, you need
to create an EIM identifier to represent a person. You need to perform this
task for every user that you want to be able to access Management Central
server functions. Perform the following steps to create a new EIM identifier:</p>

<ol><li class="stepexpand"><span>Right click <span class="uicontrol">Identifiers</span> under <samp class="codeph">MyCoEimDomain</samp> and
select <span class="uicontrol">New Identifier</span>.</span></li>
<li class="stepexpand"><span>On the <span class="uicontrol">New EIM Identifier</span> page, specify
a name for the new identifier in the <span class="uicontrol">Identifier</span> field
and click <span class="uicontrol">OK</span>. </span> For this example, you are
creating an EIM identifier for one of your peer system administrators, Amanda
Jones. The name that you specify in the <span class="uicontrol">Identifier</span> field
is <samp class="codeph">Amanda Jones</samp>.</li>

an EIM identifier.</div>
