<h1 class="topictitle1">Create a system group</h1>
<div><div class="section">Before you can propagate the network authentication service and EIM
configurations to the target systems, you must create a system group for all
the endpoint systems. A system group is a collection of several systems that
you can manage and to which you can apply similar settings and attributes,
such as the network authentication service configuration.</div>
<ol><li><span>In <span class="keyword">iSeries™ Navigator</span>, expand <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol">Management Central (iSeriesMC1)</span></span>.</span></li>
<li><span>Right-click <span class="uicontrol">System Groups</span> and select <span class="uicontrol">New
System Group...</span> to create a new system group.</span></li>
<li><span>On the <span class="uicontrol">General</span> page, enter <samp class="codeph">MyCo
system group</samp> in the name field.</span></li>
<li><span>Specify a description for this system group.</span></li>
<li><span>From the <span class="uicontrol">Available Systems</span> list, select <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> B and <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> C
and click <span class="uicontrol">Add</span>. This will add the systems to the <span class="uicontrol">Selected
systems</span> list.</span></li>
<li><span>Click <span class="uicontrol">OK</span>.</span></li>
<li><span>Expand <span class="uicontrol">System Groups</span> to verify that your
system group was added.</span></li>
</ol>
<div class="section">Now that you have created a system group for your endpoint systems,
you can propagate the network authentication service and EIM configurations
to these systems.</div>
