Use the WebSphere application server trace service

Tracing is useful for determining errors from the application server log files.
Trace allows you to obtain detailed information about the execution of application
server components, including clients, and other processes in the environments.
Trace files show the time and sequence of methods called by the application
server runtime classes, and can be used to pinpoint the failure.

Refer to these topic for more information on enabling and using the application
server trace service.
