<div><p>To label a cartridge that has at least one initialized volume on

it, follow these steps. The options are selected from the Work with Optical
|
||
|
|
Volumes display.</p>
|
||
|
|
<ol><li><span>If the cartridge resides in an optical media library, remove it
|
||
|
|
by typing option 4 (Remove) next to the volume ID.</span></li>
|
||
|
|
<li><span>After the cartridge is removed, set one side of the cartridge to
|
||
|
|
write-protected and the other side to write-enable.</span></li>
|
||
|
|
<li><span>Add the cartridge to an optical media library by typing option
|
||
|
|
1 (Add).</span></li>
|
||
|
|
<li><span>Press F11 (View 2) to see the write-protected status of the newly
|
||
|
|
added volumes.</span></li>
|
||
|
|
<li><span>Determine which volume is write-protected and make a record of
|
||
|
|
this volume ID.</span></li>
|
||
|
|
<li><span>Remove the optical cartridge by typing option 4 (Remove) next to
|
||
|
|
the volume ID.</span></li>
|
||
|

<li><span>Label the write-protected side of the cartridge to the volume ID
|
||
|
|
you previously recorded.</span></li>
