as <span class="uicontrol">QDSCJOBITV</span>, is a member of the jobs category of i5/OS™ system
|
||
|
|
values. You can use this system value to specify how long a job can be disconnected
|
||
|
|

|
||
|
|
the length of time in minutes that an interactive job can be disconnected
|
||
|
|
before it is ended. An interactive job can become disconnected in any of the
|
||
|
|
following ways:</p>
|
||
|
|
<ul><li>When the Disconnect Job (DSCJOB) command has been issued for the job.</li>
|
||
|
|
<li>When the job has been inactive for the interval that is specified for
|
||
|
|
Time-out interval for inactive jobs, and <span class="uicontrol">Disconnect job</span> is
|
||
|
|
specified for When job reaches time-out.</li>
|
||
|
|
<li>When an I/O error occurs at the interactive job's workstation, and one
|
||
|
|
of the <span class="uicontrol">Disconnect job</span> options is specified for Action
|
||
|
|
to take when a device error occurs on the workstation.</li>
|
||
|
|
</ul>
|
||
|
|
<p>No matter how the job became disconnected, it is ended after the number
|
||
|
|
of minutes specified for <span class="uicontrol">Time-out interval for disconnected jobs</span>.
|
||
|
|
The following are possible values:</p>
|
||
|
|
<ul><li><span class="uicontrol">None (*NONE)</span> <p>There is no disconnect interval.</p>
|
||
|
|
</li>
|
||
|
|
<li><span class="uicontrol">5-1440 mintues (5-1440)</span> <p>Specifies the number
|
||
|
|
of minutes before the job is ended.</p>
|
||
|
|
