the default type of coded character set ID (CCSID) conversion that may occur
|
||
|
|
within a job for display files, printer files, and panel groups. The character
|
||
|
|
identifier control special value must be specified on the character identifier
|
||
|
|
(CHRID) command parameter on the create, change, or override commands for
|
||
|
|
display files, printer files and panel groups before this attribute will be
|
||
|
|
used. This system value can be referred to for setting the character identifier
|
||
|
|
control job attribute or character identifier control user profile attribute.</p>
|
||
|
|
<p>The
|
||
|
|
following are possible options:</p>
|
||
|
|
<ul><li><span class="uicontrol">Device description (*DEVD)</span><p>No conversion will
|
||
|
|
occur.</p>
|
||
|
|
</li>
|
||
|
|
<li><span class="uicontrol">Job (*JOBCCSID)</span> <p>Coded character set ID (CCSID)
|
||
|
|
conversion takes place if the device character identifier (CHRID) and job
|
||
|
|
character identifier (CCSID) are different and the job character identifier
|
||
|
|
(CCSID) is not 65535.</p>
