<div><p>Create a home directory for each user that will connect to the i5/OS™ applications.</p>
<div class="section"><p>After you have <a href="rzakhdefineiseries.htm#rzakhdefineiseries">added</a> the i5/OS principal
to the Kerberos server, you need to create a <tt>/home</tt> directory for
each user that will connect to the i5/OS applications. This directory will
contain a file that contains the name of the user's Kerberos credentials cache.
Each user should either be the owner of his directory or have the appropriate
authority to create files within his directory. </p>

<div class="p"><span>To create a home directory for a user, complete the following:</span><ol type="a"><li class="substepexpand"><span>On an i5/OS command line, enter: <tt>CRTDIR '/home/user profile'</tt> where <tt>user
profile</tt> is the i5/OS user profile for the user. </span> <div class="note"><span class="notetitle">Note:</span> If
you plan to use this user profile as a target EIM association, the user profile
must exist and the password can be set to *NONE.</div>
