<p>The

*SINGLE parameter specifies single precision and the *DOUBLE parameter specifies
|
||
|
|
double precision. This keyword is valid for floating-point fields only (data
|
||
|
|
type F).</p>
|
||
|
|
<p>A single-precision field can be up to 9 digits; a double-precision
|
||
|
|
field can be up to 17 digits. If you specify a field length greater than 9
|
||
|
|
(single precision) or 17 (double precision), an error message is issued and
|
||
|
|
the file is not created.</p>
|
||
|
|
<p>Option indicators are not valid for this keyword.</p>
|
||
|
