<div><p>Use the Packet Rules Editor to start creating packet rules on your
system.</p>
<div class="section"> <p>You must access the Packet Rules Editor through iSeries™ Navigator,
the graphical interface that enables you to work with your iSeries resources.
You can create a new file, edit an existing one, or you can work with the
sample files provided on the system. </p>
<p>To access the Packet Rules Editor,
follow these steps:</p>

expand <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol"><var class="varname">your server</var></span> &gt; <span class="uicontrol">Network</span> &gt; <span class="uicontrol">IP Policies</span></span>.</span></li>
<li><span>Right-click <span class="uicontrol">Packet Rules</span> and select <span class="uicontrol">Rules
Editor</span>.</span></li>
