to determine whether the server has been configured to run logical partitions.</p>

<div class="section"><p>All systems ship with a primary partition. You can create logical

||

partitions on systems depending on the hardware and release you are currently
|
||
|
|
running.</p>

<p>To determine if your server has logical partitions in V5R1
|
||
|
|
or later releases, complete the following steps:</p>

<li><span>Expand the physical system with which you want to work.</span></li>

Logical partitions. If the system has logical partitions, it lists all of
