<div><p>This topic provides information about which files to backup for
HTTP Server recovery.</p>
<div class="important"><span class="importanttitle">Important:</span> Information
for this topic supports the latest PTF levels for HTTP Server for i5/OS .
It is recommended that you install the latest PTFs to upgrade to the latest
level of the HTTP Server for i5/OS. Some of the topics documented here are
not available prior to this update. See <a href="http://www-03.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/software/http/services/service.html" target="_blank">http://www.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/software/http/services/service.htm</a> <img src="www.gif" alt="Link outside Information Center" /> for more information. </div>
<p>Make sure that the following objects are included in your periodic backup
activity:</p>
<p><strong>Instance files</strong></p>
<ul><li>QUSRSYS/QATMHINSTA</li>
<li>QUSRSYS/QATMHINSTC</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Configuration files</strong></p>
<dl class="block"><dt class="dlterm">HTTP Server (powered by Apache)</dt>
<dd>Save the <em>conf</em> file located in the <strong>/www/[<em>server_name</em>]/conf/</strong> directory,
where <em>Server_Name</em> is the name of your HTTP Server (powered by Apache)
instance.<div class="note"><span class="notetitle">Note:</span> This describes the default location of the configuration file.
If your configuration files are located in another directory, you must save
the configuration file in your location.</div>

<p><strong>ASF Tomcat</strong></p>
<p>The ASF Tomcat files are located in the <strong>/www/[<em>server_name</em>]/conf/ </strong>directory.
For each Web application there is a configuration file (web.xml) in the same
directory that the Web application is located under the <strong>/www/[<em>server_name</em>]/webapps/</strong> directory.</p>

<ul><li>Signed certificates and certificate requests</li>
<li>Group files</li>
<li>Access control lists</li>
<li>Validation lists</li>
<li>Web content<p>Example: HTML, graphics, media objects, Java™, CGI
programs, Net.Data<sup>®</sup> scripts</p>
