<h4 id="rzahydailysched">Create a daily schedule</h4>
<p>Expand the <span class="bold">Replication management</span> category
in the navigation area and click <span class="bold">Manage schedules</span>.</p>
<p>On the <span class="bold">Daily schedule</span> tab, select the subtree
for which you want to create the schedule and click <span class="bold">Show schedules</span>. If any schedules exist, they are displayed in the <span class="bold">Daily schedules</span> box. To create or add a new schedule:</p>
<ol type="1">
<li>Click <span class="bold">Add</span>.</li>
<li>Enter a name for the schedule. For example <span class="bold">monday1</span>.</li>
<li>Select the time zone setting, either UTC or local.</li>
<li>Select a replication type from the drop-down menu:

<dt class="bold">Immediate</dt>
<dd>Performs any pending entry updates since the last replication
event and then updates entries continuously until the next scheduled update
event is reached.
</dd>
<dt class="bold">Once</dt>
<dd>Performs all pending updates prior to the starting time. Any updates
made after the start time wait until the next scheduled replication event.
</dd>

<li>Select a start time (in the server's local time) for the replication event.</li>
<li>Click <span class="bold">Add</span>. The replication event type and time are
displayed.</li>
<li>Add or remove events to complete your schedule. The list of events is
refreshed in chronological order.</li>
<li>When you are finished, click <span class="bold">OK</span>.</li></ol><p class="indatacontent">For example:</p>

</table><p class="indatacontent"> In this schedule, the first replication event occurs at midnight
and updates any pending changes prior to that time. Replication updates continue
to be made as they occur until 10:00 AM. Updates made between 10:00 AM and
2:00 PM wait until 2:00 PM to be replicated. Any updates made between 2:00
PM and 4:00 PM wait the replication event scheduled at 4:00 PM, afterwards
replication updates continue until the next scheduled replication event at
8:00 PM. Any updates made after 8:00 PM wait until the next scheduled replication
event.</p>

<div class="notebody">If replication events are scheduled
too closely together, a replication event might be missed if the updates from
the previous event are still in progress when the next event is scheduled.</div>
