<h3 id="rzahyce7-rf">[Failing LDAP operation]: Failed to connect to SSL server</h3>
<p>This error occurs when the LDAP server rejects the client connection because
a secure socket connection cannot be established. This can be caused by any
of the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>The Certificate Management support rejects the clients attempt
to connect to the server. Use Digital Certificate Manager to make sure that
your certificates are set up properly, then restart the server and try to
connect again.</li>
<li>The user might not have read access to the *SYSTEM certificate store
(by default /QIBM/userdata/ICSS/Cert/Server/default.kdb).</li></ul><p class="indatacontent">For i5/OS C applications, additional SSL error information is available.
