the PM eServer™ <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> menu to display PM <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> status.</p>

<div class="section"><p>You can use either <span class="keyword">iSeries Navigator</span> or

||
|
|
the PM eServer <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> Menu on your server to display
|
||
|
|
the status of PM <span class="keyword">iSeries</span>. Use
|
||
|
|
the IBM<sup>®</sup> Performance
|
||
|
|
Management for eServer <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> Status dialog to view the overall
|
||
|
|
status of PM <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> on one
|
||
|
|
or more servers or groups. For example, you are shown details as to whether
|
||
|
|
PM <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> is active. Use the
|
||
|
|
PM eServer <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> Menu to view the Collection
|
||
|
|
Services status, PM <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> scheduler
|
||
|
|
status, the performance data release, the last transmission attempt, performance
|
||
|
|
data members, and the performance data size.</p>

<p>To view the overall status
|
||
|
|
for PM <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> from <span class="keyword">iSeries Navigator</span>, do the following steps:</p>

<ol><li><span>In <span class="keyword">iSeries Navigator</span>, expand
|
||
|
|
an endpoint system or a system group.</span></li>
|
||
|
|
<li><span>Expand <span class="uicontrol">Configuration and Service</span>.</span></li>

||

<li><span>Right-click <span class="uicontrol">Collection Services</span>.</span></li>
|
||
|
|
<li><span>Select <span class="uicontrol">Performance Management eServer <span class="keyword">iSeries</span></span>.</span></li>
|
||
|

<li><span>Select <span class="uicontrol">Status</span>.</span></li>
|
||
|
