<h5 id="ny2c">Change the network attributes (New York) for two APPN networks with
different IDs</h5>
<p>The Change Network Attributes (CHGNETA) command set the attributes for
the system within the network. The following attributes are defined for NEWYORK: </p>

<dt class="bold">LCLNETID(NEWNET)</dt>
<dd>Specifies that the name of the local network is NEWNET. The remote location
(DETROIT in the example, system B in <a href="rzahjinetexa.htm#fourint">Figure 7</a>), must specify
this name as the remote network identifier (RMTNETID) on the CRTCTLAPPC command.
</dd>
<dt class="bold">LCLCPNAME(NEWYORK)</dt>
<dd>Specifies that the name assigned to the local control point is NEWYORK.
The remote system specifies this name as the remote control-point name (RMTCPNAME)
on the CRTCTLAPPC command.
</dd>
<dt class="bold">LCLLOCNAME(NEWYORK)</dt>
<dd>The default local location name of this location is NEWYORK. This name
is used for the device description that is created by the APPN support.
</dd>
<dt class="bold">NODETYPE(*ENDNODE)</dt>
<dd>Specifies that the local system (NEWYORK) is an end node in the NEWNET
network.
</dd>
<dt class="bold">NETSERVER((NEWNET DETROIT))</dt>
<dd>Specifies the name of the network node (DETROIT) and the name of the
network (NEWNET) that serves this end node. These names are defined at the
remote system on the CHGNETA command.
