Saving the information on your server is time-consuming and requires discipline. However,
it is crucial that you back up your data because you never know when you might need to do a system recovery.
This information helps you plan a strategy that you can use to ensure that all of your data is backed up in a
timely fashion and in such a way that you can recover it easily.</p>
<p style="margin-left:50px;"><strong><a href="../rzai8/rzai8overview.htm">Backup, Recovery and Media Services</a></strong><br>
Backup, Recovery and Media Services (BRMS) helps you implement a disciplined approach to managing your backups,
and provides you with an orderly way to retrieve lost or damaged data and to manage media. Many functions of
BRMS are available through a plug-in to iSeries Navigator.</p>

Use this information to learn the various ways that you can back up your system and implement your
save strategy. If you have a simple strategy, you can use Save menu option 21 of the GO SAVE command. If you
