<div><p>In Java™ 2 SDK, Standard Edition, the <samp class="codeph">policytool</samp> creates
and changes the external policy configuration files that define the Java security
policy of your installation. It is compatible with the <samp class="codeph">policytool</samp> that
is supplied by Sun Microsystems, Inc.</p>
<p>The <samp class="codeph">policytool</samp> is a graphical user interface (GUI) tool
available using the Qshell Interpreter and the Native Abstract Window Toolkit
(NAWT). See <a href="nawt.htm">IBM<sup>®</sup> Developer Kit for Java Native
Abstract Window Toolkit</a> for more information.</p>
