<div><p>If the target server is an <span class="keyword">iSeries™ server</span> or
a <span class="keyword">System/38™</span>, these CL commands
can support a DDM file as a source file (on the SRCFILE parameter).</p>
<div class="section"><p>If the target server is not an <span class="keyword">iSeries server</span> or
a <span class="keyword">System/38</span>, a DDM file name
should not be specified on the SRCFILE parameter, because the remote file
is neither an <span class="keyword">iSeries server</span> nor
a <span class="keyword">System/38</span> source file.</p>

<div class="section"><p>These commands can also be affected by file overrides (by using
the Override with Database File [OVRDBF] command).</p>

<div class="section"> <div class="note"><span class="notetitle">Note:</span> These commands cannot run on the source server to create a
file on any target server; they can, however, be submitted to run on the target
server using the Submit Remote Command (SBMRMTCMD) command. </div>
