are different from the access plans stored for local files.</p>

<p>The access plan stored for a distributed query is the distributed access

||
|
|
plan that contains information about how the query is split into multiple steps
|
||
|
|
and on the nodes on which each step of the query is run. The information about
|
||
|
|
how the step is implemented locally at each node is not saved in the access
|
||
|
|
plan; this information is built at run time.</p>
