<div><p>If you need to delete a cluster or a CRG, you must systematically
remove different cluster components to ensure complete deconfiguration.</p>

remove the last independent disk pool in the switchable devices, you must
end the CRG first. Use the <a href="../cl/endcrg.htm">End
Cluster Resource Group (ENDCRG) command</a>.</td>

<td valign="top" width="95.44924154025671%" headers="d0e21 "> If you want delete an independent disk pool that is participating
in a cluster, it is strongly recommended that you first remove the configuration
object of the disk pool from the switchable device, also known as a device
cluster resource group (CRG). To delete configuration object of a disk pool
from a switchable device, follow these steps: <div class="p">To delete a disk pool from
a switchable device, follow these steps:<ol><li> In iSeries™ Navigator,
expand <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol">Management Central</span> &gt; <span class="uicontrol">Clusters</span></span>.</li>
<li>Expand the <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol"><var class="varname">cluster name containing switchable
device</var></span> &gt; <span class="uicontrol">Switchable Devices</span></span>.</li>
<li>Click the name of the switchable device.</li>
<li>In the right-hand pane of iSeries Navigator, right-click the disk
pool, and select <span class="uicontrol">Remove</span>.</li>

independent disk pool from the cluster switchable device, you can <a href="../rzaly/rzalydeletepool.htm">delete an independent disk
pool</a> .</td>

<li> Page down until you see the device description for the independent disk
pool that you want to delete.</li>
<li>Select Option 4 (Delete) by the name of the device description and press
Enter. </li>

tasks:<img src="./delta.gif" alt="Start of change" /><ol><li>If clustering is not active on the node, then type <span class="cmdname">DLTCRG CRG(CRGNAME)</span> on
a command-line interface. CRGNAME is the name of the CRG that you want to
delete. Press Enter. </li>
<li>If clustering is active on the node, then type <span class="cmdname">DLTCRGCLU CLUSTER(CLUSTERNAME)
CRG(CRGNAME)</span> on a command-line interface. CLUSTERNAME is the name
of the cluster. CRGNAME is the name of the CRG that you want to delete. Press
Enter. </li>
