<p>The boot mode determines how IP and storage information required to boot
|
||
|
|
Windows is delivered to an iSCSI HBA in the hosted system.</p>
|
||
|
|
<p><span class="bold">Dynamically delivered to the remote system via DHCP</span>
|
||
|
|
<br />This

||
|
|
is the default mode. A DHCP server on the iSeries™ server automatically provides configuration
|
||
|
|
information via the configured NWSH adapters. See <a href="rzahqdisklessbootingoveriscsi.htm#rzahqdisklessbootingoveriscsi">Diskless booting over iSCSI</a>.</p>

<li>Multiple NWSDs can use the hosted system at different times.</li>

<li>This mode can be used on switched networks and on routed networks connected
