<div><p>This topic introduces how to complete the installation with the Linux<sup>®</sup> console.</p>

<div class="note"><span class="notetitle">Note:</span> The procedure to complete the installation is slightly different depending
|
||
|
|
on the distribution. However, all installations on the IXS or IXA hardware
|
||
|
|
involve a driver diskette. Only input the driver diskette when prompted because
|
||
|
|
it is not bootable. Otherwise you might see the message “602
|
||
|
|
Invalid diskette boot record”. To recover from this scenario do the following:<ul><li>Remove the diskette from the diskette drive.</li>
|

<li>Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to reboot the server.</li>
